Ca y est, c’est officiel. Je viens à l’instant de recevoir un e-mail de Bee Low annonçant les prochains championnats du monde de beatbox. Après 4 ans d’absence, la planète va se remettre à vibrer sous les sons de beatboxeurs venus du monde entier.

Du 28 mai au 1er juin 2009, se seront plus de 150 artistes venant de plus de 30 pays qui vont faire rockés la scène berlinoise. La dernière édition en 2005 avait consacré Joel Turner en finale face à Roxorloops. Quid de cette année ?

Voilà le programme (désolé c’est en anglais) :

BEATBOX BATTLE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2009
We will provide all participate artists a place to stay in our festival hotel incl. breakfast,
festivalpass and the bus shuttle service to all our event loactions in Berlin, city. Your family
mates, manager, friends and supporter will get the chance to book the very cheap All Area
Festival Pass which included 4 hotel nights in the same hotel and for sure the entrance to all
festival locations. The reservation is starting soon.

Try to book your trip to Germany as fast as you can, because now in these days the price of your airplane tickets will be still low. You can emagine that our non-profit organisation is not able to pay any travel documents like airplane-ticket or train-ticket for the participate artist. We have to much different artists from all over the globe taking part in the competition. We definitively need you on the 28th of May 2009 in Berlin, Germany at 12:00am for the artist briefing and the contest registration.

Il ne reste donc que 125 jours avant que l’histoire ne se réécrive. Un événement à ne pas manquer ! Berlin n’est qu’à 1h45 en avion de Paris, dépêchez-vous de réserver vos billets. Et après on ose me demander pourquoi j’habite à Berlin…

Voici la première interview que je réalise sur le blog. Connaître les expériences de beatboxeurs ayant déjà fait un bout de chemin dans ce monde buccal constitue également un très bon vecteur d’apprentissage. Alors pour cette première, j’ai l’honneur de vous présenter Mastee, ami avant tout et beatboxeur en puissance sur la scène allemande. Peut être que l’humour disparait lors de la traduction mais il faut savoir que c’est un mec génialement drôle.

Voici une première dans l’histoire du beatbox. Depuis le 19 février 2008 a ouvert la Beatbox Academy à Berlin : des profs et des élèves réunis dans une même salle autour de l’apprentissage du beatbox.
